QWERTY

QWERTY is the keyboard layout in the U.S for most keyboards. This layout was used in early typing days to slow down typists in order to have the typewriter in use not jam as often due to lack of typist's speed. QWERTY is named as such because "Q.W.E.R.T.Y" are the first 6 letters on the keyboard. (See DVORAK for information on a different layout.)

QWERTY layouts are still widely used because no one wants to stress over changing to the more effecient DVORAK.

Some people are querytory learners who learn best by asking question to get accurate information.

Qwerty Spasm

To hit random keys on your keyboard at a high speed when chatting online for an instant reaction to an otherwise problematic or over-joyous statement/event.

Qwerty spasms can also be used as conversation starters, online 'ice-breakers', or means of beginning a blog/online journal.

Dirty QWERTY

The dirty QWERTY is when you crap on someone's keyboard.

It could also be just like a stink palm where you stick your hand in between your ass cheeks and then use someone's keyboard.

Or it could be actually taking a dump on someone's keyboard. Either way.

Donald was toally annoying at work today. After he left I went over to his desk and gave him a dirty QWERTY. Hope he likes that tomorrow morning.

Query Shaming

The act of characterizing someone's SQL queries as inefficient.

Our database administrator (DBA) while reporting on why our server was slow proceeded to engage in some query shaming Ted's queries.
In today's staff meeting our DBA spoke directely to Ted in order to query shame him about some of the queries he had written.
