Potpiphany

Noun: a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something that has been induced by smoking marijuana.

Last night, the doors of perception were opened and I had a grand potpiphany while laughing at Fox news. Rupy (Rupert Everett)has got to be one of us. No one can be that evil. He's like Andy Kaufman, a comic genius. The joke is on us. Right? Right?!

Prop 19

A proposition on the 2010 ballot in California that will finally allow for persons 21 and older to legally purchase, sell (with proper licensing), and consume marijuana. It will be a huge step in curtailing the extremely deadly drug wars, allow the state of California to get millions in tax revenue, make pot harder for children to get, and create jobs.

Idiot: Prohibition is so wonderful. Isn't it awesome that the drug war has claimed 28,000 lives in Mexico so far? I love cartels, billions spent locking non violent offenders up, and lost revenue for the state. I'm totally going to vote no on Prop 19! Protect the children from having easy access to weed!

Sane Person: Prohibition has been an unmitigated failure. Billions are lost in tax revenue, we needlessly lock up people for smoking a plant, pot is easier to get than alcohol for those under 21, and tens of thousands have died from the drug wars. Enough is enough. Yes on Prop 19!

propa nice

A term originated by hippies in Huddersfield which is slowly spreading throughout Yorkshire.
Although you tell yourself you wont start saying 'Propa nice', it cant be helped and is addictive.
The term is used to portray a feeling of pleasure, contentment and approval amongst other positive things.
It is used often in the case of drugs.
Can be reversed to mean something negative by saying 'propa not nice'.

A - "Dude, check my new tattoo"
B - "Aw, propa nice man!!"

A - "I had a bad trip from those shrooms last night dude!"
B - "Aw, propa not nice man..."

Promposal

A word referring to a proposal by either a male/femal to a prospective date for prom. "Promposals" can be as simplistic as passing a note or as elaborate as proposing with a flash mob with 10 friends in nothing but their underwear in front of the whole school.

Simplistic example of a Promposal: 'The Note/Text'

Bryan: "Hannah will you go to prom with me? Check 'yes' or 'no'

Hannah: "Can I have some time to think about this?"

Bryan: "Absolutely, take as much time as you need."

Elaborate example of a Promposal: 'The Post-it Car'

Bryan writes about one hundred different notes on 'Post-its' and places them on Hannah's car ensuring to have the words "Will you go to prom with me?" Somewhere on the vehicle where Hannah will notice it. The other notes are quotes, inside jokes, and any other thing that the proposer feels will help he/she obtain a date to the prom.
