The art of plaffing is to play one's rear in order to show appreciation at the TV.
Groups of around fifty may gather to perform this traditional British act.

Example: "Me, Dave and his Christian hockey team were plaffing at England's win last night till our neighbors thought they were being attacked by a helicopter.
