The show features of two sidelined plot on the "fantasy" world representing the magical fairytale land and the "real" world which is a fictional town called Storybrooke. Fairy tale characters are stuck in the town after a curse was brought by the Evil Queen. The Plot chronicles how characters deal with each other depending on their own motives as the story progresses on the curse being broken by Emma and then the aftermath when magic was brought to Storybrooke.
