Nocebo

Nocebo is the scientific term for the creation of a negative expectation that results in reducing or negating the value of a treatment.

There was a high nocebo effect created by the fact that the drug has an extremely high risk for a combination of severe side effects including severe brain damage, impotancy, kidney failure, uncontrolable spasms, suicide, farting, diarrhea, serility, genetic mutations, birth defects, uncontrolable anger, sleep walking naked in front of large groups of people, cancerous lesions on the skin, ridecule from friends, quarantine and issolation for 6 months, etc.

the notebook

The world's greatest example of a chick flick. Based off a book by Nicholas Sparks (of A Walk to Remember fame, so you know what you're getting from the start), it follows two Southern teenagers (played by Ryan Gosling, who every girl who's ever seen the movie develops an irrational crush on, and Rachel McAdams, who is much more palatable in Wedding Crashers) from apparently the 1950s to the present day. Being male, I didn't keep track of the plot, or the dialogue, or much else: I just kept handing the girl I was watching it with tissues and nipping off to the bathroom to check the Chicago White Sox score.

Girl: OMG I LUV THE NOTEBOOK!!111!!1
Guy: Oh god, here we go again...

a Filipino street slang that means running out of English words to say , or is in a state of difficulty understanding particularly English language. may sometimes be applicable aside from English like math problems.

I'm going to flunk trigonometry,I went nosebleed during the final exam.

Stop it man, I'm already having a nosebleed. (a comment to someone speaking in rapid fire English.)
