Nexus

A last-resort ability utilized by a host that has been plagued by the Corruption. It originates from the universe of "Friday Night Funkin'; Corruption". Currently, the only subject shown capable of initiating this phenomenon is Pico.

When chances of victory begin to look slim, a corrupted entity may exert the remaining amount of their energy all at once, contorting the host's body in the process.
This form is called 'Nexus'.
The corruption may harden and crystallize, making it better for offensive capabilities at the cost of losing it's ability to infect others.
The Nexus form cannot be sustained for long, the corruption will begin to erode away as time passes in this state, making this similar to a last ditch effort.
In this form corrupting others is no longer the objective, the only desire is elimination.

torment nexus

A phrase referring to when a company makes something from a piece of media that points out why it’s a bad idea. It comes from a post in which a tech company invents an object called the Torment Nexus, which was found in the (fictional) book Don’t Create the Torment Nexus.

Guy 1: “Dude, have you heard that they’re making a Squid Game reality show?”
Guy 2: “Yeah, they’re totally creating the Torment Nexus with that one.”
