Nab

Stands for "Not actual boyfriend". For a situation where the couple is between the "friends with benefits" and "official" stage. Either one or both of them are not comfortable with being called "official", yet everyone knows they are seeing each other, they are exclusive, and they do some couple-like things. They may not yet go on dates, however.

"Hey Karissa, did your nab finally decide he wants the label even though it's been 3 months?"

"Hey, what are you doing on tinder, aren't you exclusive?" -Emily
"Yeah, but like we're not REALLY dating yet..."-Karissa

My neighbor is such a frickn NAB! She peeks through the cracks of our fence to see what we are doing. You can't even come home from the store without that NAB spying on us!
