A typa school where Karen parents send their special little snowflake kids. They think their kids are learning until the kids enter a traditional high school and don’t know basic math.

Teacher: “I can’t keep tutoring this kid after school every week. He has like 9 other tutors but he just doesn’t understand the content. He’s like 3 grade levels behind.”

Parent: “that’s impossible, he went to Montessori. He’s perfect, absolutely my flawless angel, you are a BASTARD for considering such a thing of him being behind. He is only too smart for you peasants.”

Montessori 

A quixotic, idealistic-but-not-representative-of-truth, educational style in which underachieving children are allowed to define their own curriculum.

These children typically do not receive homework or other supplemental study aids of a challenging nature, because it would, of course, disrupt their mental state and disturb them emotionally.

Since, in turn they, are 'allowed' and encouraged to work at their own lackadaisical pace, they, of course, study their materials as hard as they possibly can.

Montessori does not "push" academics, but rather lets children play and recognizes that at the ages of 4, or 5, or 7, or 12, kids are still developing their creativity, imagination, and mental capacity to recognize when things are too difficult. Also, teachers help the students grow by forming 1-on-1, nonsexual relationships 7hrs/day for 3 years, because the alternative is stressful and can lead to an increase in the rate of suicide.

They are also exposed to situations in which they can improve their ability to socialize and be a constructive member of society. In small classes of 5 to 25 students, these kids develop their social skills by delving deeper into personal, meaningful relationships than in those gross, nasty public schools with 300+ kids per grade!

Many attend college too! Not only do they often skip Junior College, but they go to an amazing repertoire of colleges, ranging from your local community college to ITT-Tech, University of Pheonix, or even DeVry!

Billy: A whopping 1350 out of 2400.

Montessori OB 

The Montessori System is not real here. Parents believe that their $9k goes to their children learning the Montessori “ways” or whatever the hell that is. Let me tell you what it’s really like here. First off, you get NO freedom what so ever. The teachers treat you like shit. You can be with them since you were younger, yet, you mean absolutely nothing to them. Also, there’s less than 20 per GRADE. Yeah, you heard me, GRADE. And I love some teachers and all, but for the most part, all of them make dumb rules for their dumb students as apart of their dumb school. The teachers and administration don’t truly understand what it’s like to have ass student. Take Cypress Bay as an example, the students take drugs and have sex in high school. Nobody at Montessori does that. Since we don’t have shit situations like that, they make every excuse to get you in trouble. Whether it’s breathing or whispering, in their eyes, you are a criminal and a terrible kid.
