gammonflake

Intolerant person with hard-line, right wing, sometimes facist beliefs. They are called as such as their face goes gammon or red in colour on becoming angry or upset, when someone dares to challenge their reactionary views or holds a view that contradicts their own. Derived from "snowflake", due to becoming as quickly or easily upset as a snowflake. However, gammonflakes, unlike a snowflake (who tend to be liberal or left wing), tend to become confrontational and aggressive rather than hide away. Gammonflake tendencies tend to be enhanced by the consumption of beer, whiskey or other similar alcoholic beverage. They are the antithesis of a snowflake.

Brian went "gammonflake", shouting with anger and going red in the face when the "Black Lives Matter" lesbian couple in his local bar said they understood why the slave owner's statue was pulled down and dumped in the water. "They're destroying our culture when they pull these statues down, he's a hero, patron and philanthropist of our city" ranted Brian as he slammed his fists on the table and split everyone's beer.

Gammon oil

The fuel that keeps the Brexit light burning and the delusion that the United Kingdom has the same economic leverage, global relevance and political integrity as the rest of the developed world.

No leverage, no relevance, just the a tank half full of gammon oil fueling a floundering united kingdom spiraling down the council gritter.
