A verb or adjective derived from the most common and vulgar African American racial epithet, aka the "n" word. Gering refers to both the engagement in and personification of sterotypical behavior, posture, language, actions, and overall attitude commonly displayed by African Americans immersed in inner city African American hip hop culture. This phenomenon is commonly found in night clubs, American football and basketball venues, and on the streets. You can be of any race or sex and engage in the act of gering.
