Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity

A social-professional fraternity consisting of eight chapters, some of which have Little Sister affiliated with the organization. DTS has awesome theme parties, and the University of Minnesota Chapter is well noted for the popular Beach Party held every spring, with a basement full of sand.

Freshman: Hey man, did you go to Beach Party?
Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity member: Duh, I hosted the damn thing.
Freshman: Great! Can you tell me which girls I hooked up with?

From a scientific stand point, the mentality of frat is extraordinarily close to that of a street gang as they both have various symbols and signs that you find engraved into bathroom walls and desks. They believe that strength comes in numbers and the individual is powerless by themselves. If understood by its definition, then a fraternity is a group of individuals who’s self esteem comes only from the amount of friends they can initiate into their frat. There is the social experiment of placing a member of a prestigious fraternity into a setting of those who are not part of the frat lifestyle and after a small amount of time, that individual conforms to the interests and beliefs of that group. Thus the strength of their fraternity is disproved. This is exactly the reason fraternities do not allow those of low income levels to enter their social groups. From an evolutionary stand point, diversity is beneficial in all forms. Thus a fraternity who lacks unconditional acceptance is flawed in its abilities.

A social group made up of men that actually do a lot of community service and gain a lot of connections for life. While some are expensive, you can talk to them to see if they can create a payment plan for you. These are often confused with unrecognized gangs that call themselves fraternities. Real fraternities don't rape women.

Northern Fraternity

Contrary to the biased views on the Northern Fraternity that the geographically lower Fraternities of America have created, Northern Fraternites are known everywhere for their hospitality, respect towards women, and culture. Northern Fraternities were the first to be founded, and first to quicken the ethical code of our nation. A Northern fraternity man will be the first to display these characteristics. Southern Fraternities may claim to be cultured gentlemen when in reality many of them hold the same ideals embraced by most Southern citizens of the early 1860's, which directly inhibits the diffusion of American culture on many levels. Many are quick to forget that 90% of the clothing styles worn by Southern fraternities were all procreated in the North, and designed for Northern culture and tradition. Any use of derogatory Fraternal slang is the primary way to identify a true fraternity man from the any sub-par organization.

A Northern Fraternity will follow a fraternal code, and express the class that Southern Fraternities claim they have.

Fraternity

A group of fucking douchebags that think they are better than anyone that is not a part of their fraternity and are the kings of hazing kids to death and treat girls like shit because they have absolutely no respect for humankind. Boys have to pay to go to their parties or they even get told to fuck off by the cool ass frat brothers, girls get in for free. They changed for the worst, they potentially were good people in high school.

Cool frat boy: don’t call a fraternity a frat. Do you call yourself Chris?
Christian: actually I’m cool with that, it can be short big man, who says I can’t call a fraternity a frat? Looks like you hate the world because most people just say “frat”, but god forbid you and your brothers will get butthurt by it being called “frat”. Fraternity Fag

An insult to members of fraternities. Presumably it comes from the fact that they choose to live with a bunch of dudes in their fraternity house, although, like the word fag, is often used to mean nothing more than a general insult.

Those fucking Sig Chi fraternity fags trashed the quad last night after their party.
