The process of heterosexual people acting homosexual for some reason or another. Potentially as part of a game of gay chicken.

Man 1: I wish I could quit you!
Man 2: You complete me!
Man 3 (gay): Such a flaming display of fauxmosexuality.

a male or female who "fakes" homosexuality in the sense of having fun among friends, but is not actually homosexual.

making sexual comments and gestures to the same gender, with no real intention of following through with such comments and gestures.

acting homosexual while joking among friends or peers, but actually being heterosexual.

fauxmocracy

1. A democracy that is not a real democracy, but the illusion of one.
2. A political system with some aspects of democracy, but not a full-fledged one.

Examples of this are: totalitarian dictatorships that hold show trials and rigged elections, or countries like the United States that have aspects like the Electoral College as safeguards against a true democracy.

Many people feel America is a fauxmocracy because the electoral college has too much power.
Those elections have been rigged for the last 5 years. Talk about a fauxmocracy!
The people themselves can't vote on laws, thats such a fauxmocracy.

Fauxmosexual

Any opposite-sex, cross-gender-identifying person trying to pursue sexual relationships with others, such as a so-called "gay transman" pursuing gay men - #BoxerCeiling or in the case of #LesbiMans pursuing Lesbians - #CottonCeiling.

I got a message on Grindr, but it turns out "he" was a female fauxmosexual, and as a gay man, I am not interested in her "bonus hole" #SuperGay (or, reverse the players for a #SuperLesbian)

Portmanteau of the words "faux" (not genuine or real; being an imitation of the genuine article) and "homo" (Used as a disparaging term for a gay man or lesbian.)
The pomo is characterized by the propensity to proclaim oneself as a homosexual for the express purpose of procuring sexual favor from people of the opposite sex.

I saw Gay Gary consoling Kelly using his sensitive gay wiles. Next thing I hear, he's tapping that ass! What a fauxmosexual.
