Factuality

A theory, claim, or statement assumed to be true due to popular agreement. Said claim can be either backed up by facts or "reliable" anecdotes.

This is a portmanteau of "fact" and "reality".

Even though we all know 2 + 2 = 5, the class decided, that in factuality, it equals 4. They are such Sheep.

"God exists" is a factuality.

String theory is not a factuality, because not enough people take it for granted.

factually late

When the use of a 'fun fact' backfires, as the receiver of said fun fact considers the information to be common knowledge. A play on the phrase 'fashionably late.'

Girl: "My boyfriend always falls asleep after sex, it's so annoying!"
Girl 2: "You know, there's a chemical reaction in mens' brains that causes them to be sleepy after an orgasm? Fun fact!"
Girl: "...Yeah, you're factually late, I've heard that about a million times. It doesn't change that it's annoying."

factasy

a fact that provokes fantasy or is fantastic by itself; a literary or artistic genre that combines complete facticity with unbridled fantasy.

The center of our galaxy tastes like raspberries and smells rum. This factasy is a recent discovery of astronomers.

I am writing a factasy based on recent calculations: each ejaculation contains about 15 terabytes of genetic information transferred at a speed of 5 terabytes per second.
