1. Listens to stereotypical emo music like Billie eilish, my chemical romance, or Linkin park and always talks about how quirky the are for listening to that genre
2. makes dark jokes
3. says they want to die
4. wears dark clothes and makes sure you know they wear dark clothes

Edgy is a term used to describe someone (typically over the Internet) who aggressively hates on someone or something in a pathetic attempt to appear superior and cool. This word is often used ironically in a derogatory form.
