It’s likely a political necessity that will never happen. Because is the person I vote for doesn’t win then I’m not being represented.

In the Electoral Dyad, the winner of this election would be the representative. And now, I know what you’re thinking. ‘But Iam, if we did that, there would be two winners in every election cycle.’ Exactly. Electoral Dyad. There would be no ancillary election. Both parties would have a candidate who won. They would govern together. You could say that they wouldn’t get anything done BUT the shouldn’t be doing anything in the first place. Blam! electoral autocracy

A well functioning multi-party democracy with a popularly elected government where Nuland hasn't managed a successful color revolution, yet. A key component is a big enough military to make overt military intervention too costly and embarrassing.

State department hack 1: We have been trying and trying but none of the fake protests we organize in country X have managed to bring about a regime change yet.

State department hack 2: Tell Soros to get one of his Scandinavian proxies to declare country X an electoral autocracy. That will show them.

DoD Austin: Fine, but can we stay friends with them though? We sorta need them to counter country Y now that we ourselves are thoroughly deindustrialized, deeply in debt, out of ammo, out of planes, and short of military recruits.

A system that maintains the hollow shell of multi-party elections while removing all meaningful choice or threat to the ruling power. Elections are held, but opposition is crippled by unfair laws, control of media, intimidation, and the overwhelming use of state resources by the incumbent. The result is a predictable, ritualistic affirmation of power that provides a veneer of legitimacy while being a totalitarian sham.

Example: "The country had Electoral Totalitarianism. You could vote for the ruling party, or for one of three approved 'opposition' parties that never criticized the president on anything important. The ballots were counted fairly, the turnout was high, and the Western observers called it 'flawed but competitive.' It was a play performed every four years to pretend the dictatorship was a democracy."

Electoral Orwellianism

The specific manipulation of information and perception around sham elections. It involves state media proclaiming "landslide victory for democracy," declaring the opposition "terrorists" to disqualify them, and using big data to micro-target and confuse voters. The language is all about choice, will, and mandate, while the reality is pre-ordained. It's a gaslighting exercise where the act of voting is used to prove you're free, even as it demonstrates your powerlessness.

Example: "On Election Day, state TV showed endless lines of happy voters, hailed the 'festival of democracy,' and warned that 'foreign elements' were trying to discredit the process. The official result gave the ruler 99.7% of the vote. Electoral Orwellianism is the gap between the loud, celebratory story of popular will and the silent, numerical fact of its utter negation."

Electoral Picking

The post-hoc rationalization where the loser of an election selectively highlights certain aspects of the electoral process (e.g., turnout in friendly districts, specific voting machine issues) to delegitimize the overall result, while accepting the same process's validity in races they won. It's a form of sore-loserism that treats the electoral system as sacred when it anoints you, and corrupt when it doesn't.

Example: A candidate wins the governor's race but loses the presidential race in the same state on the same ballots. They celebrate the governor's win as a "clean, fair victory" but declare the presidential loss "fraudulent due to irregularities in Metro County." This Electoral Picking accepts or rejects the system's legitimacy based solely on personal outcome.
