Defriendization

A large-scale deletion of friends from a social networking site. Similar to deforestation, it can have drastic effects on the remaining landscape of your friends list. The people you unfriend may then Facebook chat rape or Facebook stalk your mutual friends, asking why you've cleared an entire forest of people.

"I had to do some serious defriendization on FB after I dumped my stupid ho. No big deal, I hate her skanky, retarded friends anyway. Sorry if they come after you asking what happened, just tell them to get stuffed."

V. The Act of Defending a person simply because of a friendship, often when the friend in question has done something wrong.

Girl: "Look that girl is a little crazy sometimes, but hey everybody is!"
Guy: "You're just being defriendsive."

Man 1: "Did Aaron steal my muffin?"
Man 2: "No dude! YOU LEFT IT IN THE RESTAURANT. SERIOUSLY, WHY WOULD YOU ACCUSE HIM OF SUCH A TREACHEROUS DEED."
Man 1: "Why are you getting so defriendsive all of the sudden..is something going on?"

Defriend

To remove a friend from your Facebook or Myspace because you misfriended them (accidentally "friended" them or added them as a friend).

I had to defriend this dude I thought I knew from my high school days, but it turned out I didn't. He was sending me all sorts of events spam!

The act of de-friending someone on facebook, often for socio-political reasons.

After getting hired at the firm, Mark defriendestrated Gary whose incessant posting of "your mom" jokes and links to NWS material proved a dangerous liability to the new job. This defriendestration was unbeknownst to Gary, but was reciprocally evident to all their mutual friends.
