It involves functional disorder of the exocrine glands, and is marked especially by faulty digestion due to a deficiency of pancreatic enzymes, by difficulty in breathing due to mucus accumulation in airways, and by excessive loss of salt in the sweat.
Also called Fibrocystic Disease of the Pancreas, and Mucoviscidosis

Jonathan died of Cystic Fibrosis, April 6th 2005.

He was 18 years old, and 2 months away from Graduation.

We all miss him.
