An online diary/ and or journal. Can be private so it's only viewed by you, friends only so that only a few selected people can read it, or public so anyone who comes across it can read it. A very helpful way to get out emotion and stress and receive loving support - it doesn't matter if you don't know the person. There's always someone who knows exactly what you're going through. A place to make great online friends.

Blog is short for "web log" a popular way to journal your life online for everyone to read.
When you're with someone and something blog-worthy happens, then you say "Blog It" to them. It is a suggestion for the other person to note the incident in their blog.

An archaic form of web communication. Long replaced by the YouTube video blogs and twitter. Still preferred by individuals who are too ugly for video blogs and two wordy to condense their overblown thoughts and experiences into 140 characters.
Me: Hi Bob, I heard you went on a date. Was she cute?
Bob: She wasn't so much cute. More like blog cute.
Me: Mother of god. I'm so so sorry.

Blog (or weblogs) were originally intended to link the interesting URLs found on the Internet and provide some commentary on those. In addition they provided reader with feedback possibility in the comment- section.
Currently the word blog is ubiquitous term to online diary, an unappealing personal webpage or electronic collection of (short) notes which closely resemble reference material for mental patient medical record.
Most of the blogs are visited by randomly stumbling visitors or someone familiar with author reading the blog entries out of morbid interest.
