fruit blindness

A gay man's inability to recognize the obvious lack of attractiveness in his female friends or beards. Usually applies in cases of very attractive gay men who, when they're in the closet, date much less attractive desperate women.

Sometimes misused to denote an inability to recognize obvious homosexuality.

Tom tries to make out with dudes when he drinks, even though he's dating Lisa. Tom's a 10 and Lisa's a 4. It's an obvious case of fruit blindness.

She was desperate and had really bad gaydar. You think it's awesome that she's dating such hot guys until you realize that it's a case of serious fruit blindness.

beignets

Beignets are a like doughnuts except fluffier and covered in powdered sugar. I'm not sure where they originated from, but they are very popular in Louisiana, New Orleans in particular.

Susie Q: Where can I get a good beignet?
Jim Bob: OH, Cafe du Monde has the best beignets and coffee!
Susie Q: So, they have those sweet pillowly sugary things!

Color Blindness

Color blindness or color vision deficiency is the inability or decreased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under lighting conditions when color vision is not normally impaired. "Color blind" is a misleading term; there is no actual blindness but there is a fault in the development of either or both sets of retinal cones that perceive color in light and transmit that information to the optic nerve.

Jack failed the Ishihara test because he has Color Blindness.

Baby blindness

1.When a friend/partner has a period when they will be totally fixxed when they see a baby and nothing else (including obstacles), anywhere.

2.When parents of an ugly baby think it is the cutest and most wonderful thing in the world. Ignoring it obvious faults.
