They cut it there and not interested in socializing after the fact. They may see someone they know and say, "Oh hi. How are you?" But that doesn't mean they want to sit and hold a half an hour conversation with you about things they don't care to hear or talk about, or catch up later and gossip, etc. You may see them out at public gatherings, events etc., but that's it. You don't know about their personal life, see them post anything too personal on social media, because they are antisocial.
