Cape Verde is a small group of islands off the west coast of Africa and there are a lot of Cape Verdeans in New England. Cape Verdeans are Black/African reguardless of skin/eye color or hair length/texture but sadly a lot of them are in denial about it... they try to use their portuguese mixture as an excuse of why they're not african but it's stupid because there is a mix of something else in almost every African country... A Cape Verdean is a person who descended from Cape Verde which is a tiiny little country off the western coast of Africa. They range from all skiin colors, eye colors, and haiir types. The language sort of sounds liike a miix of the romance languages spanish, portuguese, italian, ect. so iif u speak one of those especiially portuguese you'd have no problem pickiin iit up. PV consists of four cities: Rancho Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills, and Rolling Hills Estates. Demographics? the median age is about 45 years old, about 75% white, 20% Asian, and the remaining 5% a mix of other ethnicities.
PV is on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. About a million years ago, it was an island and so it has plant and insect life unseen elsewhere on the North American continent. There are rare birds and butterflies. Do you care? No, you don't.
Because it is on a peninsula, it is surrounded by water on three sides and there is nowhere to go. Those who come to visit invariably end up turning around and going home.
The high schools are too hard. While many kids go on to Ivy league schools, the majority just go to Berkely, UCLA, UCI, and UCSD.
If you come to PV from outside, the people seem rich, old, and the atmosphere intimidating. If you live there, the people no longer seem rich, but they continue to be fairly old.

All of the kids no longer drive Beamers and Mercedes because it is not the cool thing to do anymore. No, instead they drive raised trucks with refurbished sound systems bumpin some gangster/ old school rap because reggae just went out of style.
2. the "chill" school on the hill where students attend because Pen is too ghetto for them, or just has too many Asians. That's not to say asians aren't cool. It's just that it makes RICH white kids feel like the minority, and RICH white kids don't like to feel that way (actually, its usually just because of proximity or friends but definitely has earned the name chill school); Goes by the block system; hasn't had a fake bomb scare yet by fake arabs who think they are hard as opposed to Pen
