Often used in the early online gaming years (late 90's) to represent a major perceived win. This could be a won match or in non gaming use a major windfall.
Later in 2000-2010 you it was repurposed for "That Feeling When" or "That Face When" to represent a state of feeling when experiencing or viewing an event. It was often used interchangeably with MFW or "My Face When" until around 2010 where it began to peak and popularity made "That Feeling When" the popular use of the acronym.
