suspicion

A small quantity of alcohol, food or other consumable, usually requested because the consumer of it: (a) does not want to get drunk, (b) does not know what it tastes like and wants to try it, or (c) knows what it tastes like, doesn't like it, but doesn't want to offend the person offering it. Also known as a "sensation".

Dinner-party host (holding wine bottle): Would you care for a glass of spinach wine? It's made from real spinach, that's why it's dark green.
Dinner-party guest (holding wine glass): Just a suspicion thanks.

suspension hook

A hook used in the body art of suspension. It is normally either fashioned from large preexisting stainless steel hooks with the barb filed off or made especially for the occasion by a small number of body art equipment makers. The hook can come with locks to prevent straightening and are usually reused between persons, after being sterilized in a vacuum autoclave.

Twitter Suspension

The act of temporarily un-following someone on Twitter because of a steady stream of "live-tweeting" or stupid posts. The action isn't permanent, it is just used to provide a much needed respite from the user's constant barrage of information you care nothing about.

I put Julie on Twitter Suspension today for live-tweeting a business meeting. I mean, who cares about her boss's choice in suit jackets?

In School Suspension

When a student acts like a crazey mouse during school premises, once, twice or thrice, he’d get in school suspension! ISS, where the student has to work in the principal’s room throughout the day. That means they did not get suspended from school, but suspended inside the school. If the principal tells you that you need to stop acting like a zaney coward, you’re in freakey shock!
