Red Sox-Yankees Rivalry

Greatest rivalry in the history of professional sports. Most years the rivalry ends as somewhat of a draw. This year, the Red Sox have the better team (wait, they usually have the better team every year) and have already taken six out of seven games from the Yankees (see shit). Does not bode well for the Bronx Bombers.

You see the Yankees just bought up every good player they could?

Doesn't matter, since the Sox have the best pitching in baseball.

To have someone deliberately draw the attention of a being of hostility to themself, and then go near their victim (so as to alert said hostile being of your presence).

Usually, the offender also pretends to be dead (or completely vanish), in order to disinterest the aforementioned hostile being from them completely leaving their victim in danger.

Victim: I was just minding my own business when some rogue with a vicious mountain lion chasing him ran at me and vanished!

Growing up you had opponents, back when you could break each others bones. Then, opponents became rivals in college. Really rivals and rivalries are for college kids and the ancient Greeks.

The guy had no rival. He sure had some opponents though.
