A fear of phobias. Which, if you think about it, is really quite redundant, ironic, and stupid.

Man: I'm so afraid of becoming claustrophobic AND agoraphobic at the same time!! Actually, just the word "phobia" kinda makes me want to vomit.

Therapist: Well, it sounds like all this fear of phobias has given you one. It's called phophobia. And it makes you look redundant, ironic, and stupid.

pugophobia

Pugophobia is the fear of buttocks. Pugophobia is commonly suffered by young children and is often triggered by painful experiences when excreting huge feces through it, something getting stuck in it, or when sitting on the butt.

pedophobia

An irrational, often hysterical fear that afflicts many parents. It involves the delusion that perverts wearing trenchcoats are lurking behind every bush with pockets full of candy. Parents with this disorder have an obsessive compulsion to keep their children, even teenagers, under constant surveillance. They egotistically assume that a pervert would WANT their children, even though they tend to be just as dull and unattractive as the parents that spawned them. These parents tend to be highly suggestible, and a large majority watch FOX News regularly. Other symptoms include frequent bouts of paranoia and melodramatic behavior. Sadly, most will not be cured before they have passed the disease on to their children.

The media's sensationalized coverage of child abductions is mostly to blame for the current climate of pedophobia in our society.

Phagophobia

A term describing the fear of swallowing, usually developed in young children as a result of being force-fed medicine.

Sometimes related to the fear of being eaten.

Phagophobia is not to be confused with a fear of eating (Sitophobia) or a fear of choking (Pseudodysphagia), both of which have their own separate classification.

Jimmy hasn't eaten anything solid in months because of his phagophobia.
