Nadved is a mysterious entity that lives within paper. He is a friend of Devdan's, and Devdan is able to summon Nadved into a nearby piece of paper with a small ritual. Aside from involving drawing a stick figure, the details of the ritual are a secret and never revealed to the player. Devdan summons Nadved as his partner in street performances, and Nadved has a variety of tricks up his sleeve.
During the Mad King's War, Devdan summons Nadved to put on a performance for the other soldiers. Largo is particularly enraptured by him. Largo later stumbles across Nadved at camp, but after a brief misunderstanding Largo crumples up the piece of paper he was residing in. While this caused Nadved pain and ejected him from that piece of paper, Nadved survived and Devdan is able to summon him again so Largo can apologize. While Nadved forgives him, afterwards he does something... horrible. Unspeakable. All Largo can do is scream.
As Devdan does not return in the sequel, and nobody else in the party knows the ritual to summon Nadved (or, if they do, refrains from using it), Nadved does not appear in Radiant Dawn.
Nadved is a showman who enjoys working the crowd. Nadved speaks the Tellius language, but his speech is patterns are odd, suggesting that it might not be his first language. He believes in the power of friendship and forgiveness. However, while he is able to forgive, he doesn't let people off scott-free, and dishes out his own unique brand of punishment.
