People with a theoretical knowledge of Metal they really like to show to everyone that exceeds knowing simple facts, for example that screamo isn"t a genre, but only how scene people call genres like Hardcore, Metalcore, Melodic Death Metal,...., by far, but no idea what being a metalhead means. Some of them haven"t been to a concert in their entire life. They normally have nothing better to do than sitting in front of their computers all day long, watching youtube videos and, by commenting, defending their selection of favourite bands as "the only real Metal" against others and attacking their selections as "not Metal at all", or searching for probably not useful, but scientifically correct genre names. They normally attack people with different opinions personally

metrohemian

A straight urban male who is slightly metrosexual, but far more modest. Like his more pretensous metro counterparts, he lives in a trendy downtown loft, but he got it for a great price and filled it with furniture from yard sales. He cares how he looks and always tries to look good, but he doesn't obsess about it and he is not superficial. He's very interested in art and music, but he sticks with the stuff he enjoys instead of trying to impress people. He probably recycles and he owns at least one pair of flip flops.

His female counterpart is likely a boheme-a-leen, and his fashion sense might (or might not) be bohemo.

You'd think that if Greg could afford that apartment he could afford some socks, and maybe some furniture. He's such a metrohemian.

A Metalhead is anything you, or they want it to be, there are many definitions of what people think a metalhead is, the ONLY one's tht are wrong are the ones saying that they are evil people with only destruction in mind (this is complete bull ¬_¬), a real metalhead is generally one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, sure, they tend to be extremely loud and intimidating in large groups because of all the noise they make, but its all in good fun, the true meaning of "metalhead" is to listen to the greatest kind of music EVER! and still respect others for their own opinion on it. Remember "Only treat others how you wish for them to treat you."

Someone who is heavily involved with some aspect of metal. Usually has long hair, wears black clothes, and has band-T's. But not always. Metalheads are defined by what they listen to, not how they dress. They often despise rap and they destroy anyone who disses metal round them.

Person adhering to the metal culture.
Agressive in nature, yet very fun loving people, know how to have a great time, and thrash/mosh like none others.
Generaly wear black, army clothes, boots, studs and chains. May resemble Rivethead, though DEFINETLY not them.

Also, in Quebec/Canada, most metal heads are not of the "Metallica rulez" type, they listen to the extremely aggressive Death Metal produced from there. Extreme hyperblast and technical bands like Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, Martyr, Neuraxis to name a few are part of this style.
