when you have an object, or food and you mess with it to the point that it is unrecognizible as the thing it was before .
so say you have a sandwich and you prod,pick and poke at it so that it does not look like anything, that means you have marmalized the sandwich.

An anime/manga where the parents of the two main characters, Miki and Yuu, swap partners and remarry, and they all live under one roof.
