"Macho Man" Randy Savage, born Randy Poffo, is the brother of former Pro Wrestler Lanny Poffo. Savage is a former 2 time WWF Champion, 4 time WCW Champion, and a former Intercontinental Champion. He was the most recognized spokesman of Slim Jim and was featured in the major motion picture, Spiderman, as Bone Saw McGraw. His trademark catchphrases is "Oooooh Yeeeeeah", one of the most well known to date and his trademark finisher was the Elbow Drop from the top rope. He was most famously managed by his Ex-Wife Miss Elizabeth during the 1980s and 1990s and is famous for headlining matches with such legendary rivals as Hulk Hogan, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Ric Flair. He is currently retired from Wrestling but his legacy is tributed through TNA Star "Black Machismo" Jay Letal and the memories of many fans across the world

This is often done by a comparison to and , the condescension of femininity/female stereotypical behavior such as emotional, gentle, sensitive as the epitome of weakness. Anyone can be negatively affected by The Macho Paradigm© but most of all males are harmed by it's constant pressure it puts on them to live up to a stereotype of what a man is even if it causes pain on him or those around him. Things like chauvinism and misogyny as well as peer pressure could theoretically be traced back to The Macho Paradigm© as a root source of that programming that causes people to not only repress themselves to appear tough and cool but then to shame others into the same macho conformity. ©2014/DM
