Virtual Narcissism

Temporarily simulated narcissism. To imply boastfulness, conceit, egocentricity in a virtual world or Social Media outlet such as Facebook.
Virtual Narcissism is the insecure act of requesting friends you do not know, simply to boast how many people you imply you know to the virtual world of Facebook, MySpace or any other Social Media outlet found on the World Wide Web with no intention to network or act of personal gain. It is simply to stroke the ego, while spending personal wasted hours adding friends you will never meet in the real world.

vulnerable narcissism

A personality construct characterized by fragile self-esteem, a sense of entitlement and a total lack of resilience to life's ups and downs. Contrary to popular thought, it is not a distinct personality type, but rather the outcome of a prior issue such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Paranoid Personality Disorder. Avoidant Personality Disorder or just extremely low self-esteem.

People with high levels of vulnerable narcissism tend to be excessively self-conscious, self-absorbed and expect to be handled with kid gloves at all times. Intolerance to differing opinions and an egregious sense of victimization tend to characterize these types. (See Social Justice Warrior)

If you know someone whose self-esteem seems to be excessively unstable and fragile, you might be dealing with someone with high amounts of vulnerable narcissism.
Bob: My girlfriend has Borderline Personality Disorder and tends to lose her shit when I don't want to go to her favourite restaurant every damn night.
John: Because she has too much vulnerable narcissism, bro. It makes her entitled to special treatment.

Narcissism

True narcissism is someone who has an overly rose colored view of themself. Someone who headlines themself as sexy, or brags about everything they do in a day, even things that aren't really impressive to anybody else, they're just things humans do all the time. Someone who expects other people to treat them the exact same way, to brag about them, to say nothing but nice things about them, to make them feel like they're more than another human. Someone who expects everybody to be okay with them talking more shit than anybody needs to talk to get what's on their mind to other people.
The girl was a walking example of narcissism and hypocrisy, everybody she called narcissistic or hypocrite, though it did apply to them, could also tell how narcissistic and hypocritical she really was, and had always been. The kettles were black, and so was the pot.

Reverse Narcissism

Follows the same principles of narcissism except the person focuses on how incredibly terrible they are and any other negative qualities even if it's not true about themself
Filipa uses so much reverse narcissism. She keeps calling herself a mega whore and hedonist but she doesn't even want presents for her birthday.
