shopping cart gridlock

When you are grocery shopping during the rush hour and you can't get through the aisle because there are too many carts in the way, can't back up either because other shoppers piled in behind you and nobody can move.

I can't get to the tostada chips & jalapeno cheese dip, I'm stuck in shopping cart gridlock...

The feminized cock block (a.k.a. Blocking the Box). The origin of this term comes from city traffic signs ("Don't Block the Box") in order to alleviate rush hour traffic conditions where cars are stopped in the middle of an intersection. In these situations, blocking the box inevitably results in gridlock.

Sicilian Gridlock

Where four cars have edged forward into busy traffic at a four way intersection in such a fashion that each car's front bumper is pointed at the next car right's side door and each car is of course blocked behind by the line of cars that inched forward with them.

The greatest music project in existence (and likely ever). Founded by Mike Wells and Mike Cadoo, their mix of ambient, glitch and industrial changed the face of electronic music (especially industrial, with little credit).
