This word is essentially a really fancy sounding alternative to the phrase “clout chaser”: It’s someone who is always attempting to score clout, which ends up, ironically, damaging their appearance to the rest of society.

It appears as if that man over there is a gravitasociophile. He seems to be wearing every possible piece of Supreme and Gucci gear he could purchase from EBay.

A temper tantrum during which your child drops to the floor and writhes around as if being sucked into the floor by a massive gravitational pull.

My husband woke our son as he took him out of his car seat, which usually leads to disaster. Sure enough, as soon as we went inside the house, he pulled one of those gravitational tantrums.
