ground and pound

A term used to describe a fighting style or technic. To take one's opponent to the ground, establish a dominant position. Usually a top position(i.e., mount, side mount, half mount, etc. can also be used while in one's "guard"). Then reign down punches, elbows and forearm strikes to the downed fighter. This is used in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) or any other NHB (no holds barred) fight.

Tito is one of the best at ground and pound.

a term used for the exact moment when your turd begins to exit your ass but you squeeze your cheeks together to make it go back in, only to find moments later, it starts to sneek back out, much like a ground hog sticking it's head out to look around.

Ground People

Those people you always see studying in the hallways at school. Often found in large groups of people (called a clique) ,and normally seen reading, working with a laptop, or other electronic device, in front of, or near their locker's.

These people will often not give you their full attention if called upon

Ben: Hey what's up?

Ken: Just a second... (Finishes writing) Oh - uh, just studying for my test later today.

Ben: Oh. That's uh, cool. Wanna walk with me over to Timmies (Canadian Coffee shop)

Ken: Nah, bro. Sorry. Maybe another time? I really need to study.

Ben: Fine, go join the Ground People. Be a dumbass.

Ken: Nah bro. You're the dumbass. I'm the one that's gonna pass bro!
