this hashtag was coined by the buffalo Jay Vazques to address the betrayal of his two girlfriends Marnie and Fey. This word can be used when two people in a group of three decide to leave one of them alone, minding their own business and loving each other while the leftover (usually a boy) suffers in silence.

Fey: I love you, Marnie
Marnie: I love you too, Fey
Jay: *buffalo noises* #doppiotradimento

An annoying male/female on the other end of the telephone or an operator that just plain won't listen.

Operator: "Is an adult present in the house?"
Me: "No.... their all gone...just me here"
Operator: "Can I please speak with the adult there?"
Me: "There's no adults here!"
Operator: "Miss, I have another call please stay on hold this is a very important survey for the adult in the house"

a portmanteau combining the words 'dopamine' and 'idiot' describing the online condition of the rush of dopamine one gets from being totally online, tribal, and so invested in the programmed rush that it diminishes resting state intellect.

I'm going to check Michael Tracey's twitter feed for the hot takes from the dopiots. Maybe that will protect me from the furious, brassknuckled back hand of Maxine Waters (age 80, as of 08/15/2018).
