Disco Dick

When a guy has too much intoxication his dick goes soft and he can't get hard for sex.
Jack: "Man I drank so much last night I couldn't get it up, it was like thumbing a marshmallow into a coin slot."

Gary: "Ha Ha, you got Disco Dick."

dissociachotic

In the modern era we have now come to understand voices, visions and other alternative realities, or 'psychosis', as commonly a response to trauma and adversity and not a biological disease. As this understanding has developed we now know that dissociation is an innate stress response, in the same vein as fight or flight - especially when a person is faced with threat of others.

What we have learned is that 'psychosis' is likely a dissociative reality and therefore Dissociachotic is the combining of dissociation and the 'psychosis' that recognises 'psychosis' as a legitimate and understandable response to trauma and adversity and not a chemical imbalance or biological disease state. This is exciting as it means people are surviving and overcoming trauma and can make sense of their realities as real and meaningful in recovery from distress.

Psychosis is a legitimate innate stress/ threat response to unsafety in relationship to another person who has or represents the threat of trauma and adversity)

cognitive dissonance

An example of somebody displaying cognitively dissonant behaviour would be a situation where the persons views, values, beliefs etc are contradicted or opposed by one or other persons causing them mental (psychological) stress. At this point a state of cognition is triggered effectively causing them to refute, reject &/or miss-perceive the contradictory views, values or beliefs.
"smoking will most likely cause you to have cancer you know?"

"hmmm I'm not so sure I know people who have smoked all their lives and they're fine, plus I enjoy it anyway.." this is cognitive dissonance

disco ears

Ears on a dog that have one ear erect and upright and the opposite ear floppy and droopy, similar to John Travolta's arms in his famous pose on the dance floor in Saturday Night Fever.
Dusty the dog had surgery on only one of his ears, so now that ear flops down and the other one still points upward. Now Dusty is a disco dog with disco ears!

Dihsomf

This word is an abbreviation for the often asked question, "Do I have stuff on my face?" After a meal, brushing your teeth, or plain out just being messy anybody would want to know whether or not their face is clean. By using this acronym, people can ask one another without feeling embarrassed and disrupting a whole conversation. After all, this simple word is much easier to pronounce and much quicker to say than that whole question.
After eating a baked good Caroline asks, "Hey, Nikki dihsomf?"
Nikki responds, "No Caroline, your good!"

Panic! At the Disco

Formed in Las Vegas, Nevada by members Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brendon Urie, and Brent Wilson, P!atd is commonly refered to as a "pop-punk" and/or " punk-rock" band. Brent Wilson, former basist, who was in the band for a very short time, left and was replaced by Jon Walker. Later in 2009, Ryan Ross (guitarist) and Jon Walker (basist) left due to creative differences and formed The Young Veins. Two albums were made with Ross and Walker; A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, and Pretty. Odd. The two albums are widely different from each other. After Ross and Walker left, vocalist Brendon Urie, and drummer Spencer Smith, created the album Vices and Virtues. Many people stereotype them to be "listened to by 13 year olds who don't know what real music is, and"emo kids." Recently, Panic!'s song "Ready To Go" has been feautured in TV commercials, causing the band to become more mainstream. Although you don't have to listen to them since the beginning when they were originally formed, it would help if you know other songs then just the ones that play on the radio and TV.
Person 1: I just started listening to Panic! At The Disco last week, and I think they're really good! Camisado is my favorite song.

Person 2: Yeah I know! I love the album Pretty. Odd.

"Poser" Person 3: Yeah! I don't know the album names but I LOVE I Write Sins, Not Tragedies, and Ready To Go. They play on the radio all the time!
