Discouraged Dater

Someone who is currently not dating, who wants to date, but has not attempted to start dating for a long time because they gave up, believe nobody is suitable, or is mentally exhausted from unsuccessful attempts.

Person 1: Hey man, you haven't dated in a while, why don't you go out and find someone.
Person 2: Can't, finding someone is a lost cause
Person 1: Ah, I get it, you're a discouraged dater

When a woman is just dawning the age of cougardom and is not sure is she wants to be perceived as a cougar when she realizes that a younger man likes her.

Friend- "Hey Liz Are you gonna let that hot 26 year old buy you a drink? He has been eye raping you all night."

Liz- "I don't know. It's my 35th birthday, I don't know if I am ready to turn cougar over night."

Friend- " Don't get all discougaraged about age! You would have gone for him last night."
