Demused

The state of having absolutely no ability or desire to participate in anything beautiful, useful, noble, or artistic. It describes someone who not only lost the confidence or the energy to create, but who decided that these kinds of endeavors were a waste. The human spark is extinguished from such a person and all that is left is a hollow consumer shell.

Antonym of Bemused, the state of being inexplicably distracted, which was thought to be a result of being visited by one of the mythical Muses, who granted talents in the arts and sciences.

While only a Muse can Bemuse someone, many people and groups are capable of Demusing others, including fraternities, Joel Osteen, shift supervisors, Clear Channel Radio Stations, Jeff Foxworthy, people who make Disney movies, anybody who works for Verizon, Tom Clancy, Thomas Kinkade, Paula Deen, Instagram, Reddit, the Grand Theft Auto franchise, etc.

A: He used to be so smart and creative, now all he does is drink on the weekends and play video games. When did he get demused?

demisexual

Demisexuals are characterized by a lack of sexual attraction toward any person unless they become deeply emotionally or romantically connected with a specific person or persons. The level of connection it takes for sexual desire to form is dependent on how close the relationship is rather than initial attraction. It is an orientation that is not chosen.

Demisexuality does not refer to the active restraint or repression of sexual desires or actions.

Demi- is a prefix meaning half. This is used to mean halfway between sexual and asexual. The term originated in the asexual community, specifically within the Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN).

Demisexual partner: I'd have to reach a higher level of emotional intimacy before I could feel the same way. =\

Dempsey Roll

Ippo's most destructive punch in the manga, Hajime no Ippo. It is the perfect blend between defense and offense. Ippo first start weaving his body and slams full powered hook to the opponent's face with dodging their attacks. For maxium damage, Ippo first uses Liver Blow and Gazelle Punch then end the combo with Dempsey Roll. It is that combo that earned him the Japanese Feather Weight Champion belt.

Ippo just knock Sendo down with a Dempsey roll!!!
