The music that owns all other music, especially rap. The people who say that 50 Cent is mors talented than someone like Beethoven need to grow up. Fortunatly there's still hope for people like them. When I was young I incorrectly believed rap to be the best form of music and when I heard classical music I shoved my headphones in and turned up the volume. I'm lucky this didn't result in permanent hearing damage so now I can listen to real music. All this goes to show that...
1. I've listened to both rap and classical so I'm qualified to say that classical is more enjoyable
2. You don't need to be an old person to listen to classical music since last time I checked 15 wasn't old
and...
3. Rap becomes old real fast and has no lasting value, which is why I sought out different types of music (there's only so much bitching about hoes, money, and guns that you can take and classical isn't the only type of music I listen to)

Get the Classical mug.A style of music only some people can appreciate. Not many pre-teens and teenagers my age like it (I think that's because they want to be "cool"). I like classical, and rock. They're broad, but they're both pretty cool. Classical's always going to be "classic." Maybe in like 20 years, rock'll go out of fashion. Maybe I'll still like rock then, but I don't think it'll be that big. Classic examples of composers around the classical period are Mozart, Beethoven, and a lot others, check them out at your local music store.....classical can be wild and loud and sometimes it can be soft and calm. Don't think that listening to one classical piece will determine what the whole genre is like.
I, myself, have liked classical for a while. My graphics site is classicalgraphics.tk, I have ClassicalFonts, my screen names have to do with classical.....but that's all another thing.

Get the classical mug.The best music there is. Far superior to any popular music such as rap, rock, etc. Classical music is real music with real emotion and complexity and grandness of conception. It has been around for hundreds of years and its greatness cannot be denied. It will always be around unlike something stupid like rap, which is so simplistic and for the simple-minded morons. Also, it takes much skill, intelligence, practice, and virtuosity to play classical music, unlike rap, which all you need is a damn ugly voice. Rappers can't even speak proper english anyways.

Get the classical music mug.The shittiest instrument in the world. It’s quieter than a church mouse, it’s really hard to play fast, it sucks to play slow cause it has no sustain, can’t do polyphony as well as a piano, and has a really narrow range.

Too stoned and nonchalant to fit in with the rest of the classical world, and too nerdy and uptight to fit in with the non-art music crowd. They spend hours and hours bitching about their fingernails and how nobody wants to listen to their music.

Those who bash it simply are not able to comprehend the expressive beauty and intricate complexity behind it. It utilizes almost all kinds of musical instruments. The different forms of classical music are symphony, piano sonata, piano concerto, violin sonata, violin concerto, piano quartet, string quartet, string quintet, etc. No other genre has been so effective in utilizing these different arrangements of instruments. The main periods are Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionism, Modern, Contemporary. My personal favorite is the Romantic period with legendary composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin, Peter Tchaikovsky, Antonin Dvorak, Franz Liszt, Mussorgsky, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Unlike pop songs, no single piece of classical music sounds exactly the same. Rather, each piece is unique in the type of instruments used, the mood that is set, and the way beautiful melodies are brought out or expressed. Each piece is a musical journey that the listeners takes which is full of twists and surprises.
