Scottish comedian on late-night-TV, whose show airs after Letterman. His humor is characterized by anecdotes about his years in Scotland or his alcoholism, running jokes about the likes of OJ, Bill Clinton, and Elton John, and catchphrases such as "Remind you of anyone?" and "Sit down, relax, take off your pants."

Craic

Irish word for fun/enjoyment that has been brought into the English language. usu. when mixed with alcohol and/or music.
'Bhi craic agus ceol againn' : We had fun and music.
Fun doesn't really cut it though. General banter, good times had by all.
Also, a person who is good fun/great company.

It was great craic.
She's great craic when she gets going.
He's great craic when he has a few pints on him.
What's the craic?
How's the craic?
The craic was mighty.

Note: Very tricky to get away with saying this in the US without getting strange looks for police officers.

THE funniest late night talk show host right now. He's genuine, he strays from the same-ole' stuff of Conan, Jay and Dave, and he's just hilarious. It's worth staying up late to watch him.

Person 1: "Did you see Craig Ferguson last night?"
Person 2: "Nope, I watched Jay Leno."
Person 1: "Oh...Jay...that's a perfect way to waste time. Craig is an actual comedian."

The act of disappearing from contact for extended periods of time. Similiar to "going dark", but normally used in a work context. Applied to employees who can become impossible to contact via e-mail, phone or even physically when they are needed.
