Fringe Logic literally means Logic on the fringe of Illogical.
A form of thinking or thought patterns that are based on irrational and or tangent based logic. It is a pattern of thinking based on outlandishness and at times denial of real logic or sound reasoning.
A good example of this is what goes on in the heads of Conspiracy Theorists. Example: people who believe in a flat earth denying scientific observation over what we have known for hundreds of years because of a perception everything we know is wrong.
Another example of fringe logic is when someone drinks poison thinking it will kill whatever is making them sick too leading them to a cure.
Fringe Logic is associated with bad ideas and worse implementation. It also applies to counter culture.

Anything that comes from the mouth of a person with this kind of logic will be either disregarded or lead to extreme confusion. Thought processes are backwards among these kinds of people also, making everything as difficult as possible. All opinions are created out of peer pressure and lead to being highly defensive if flaws in their opinions are pointed out.
