wake up (make a move)

Wake Up (Make a Move) is the third single from Start Something, the second album by the Welsh rock band lostprophets. This single was under much debate up to it coming out, both lostprophets and their N Prime management wanted the dark, brooding "Make A Move" as a single whereas the label wanted the poppier, catchier "I Don't Know". The band and their management walked away victorious from this battle of wills and the song was released as a single with the modified title "Wake Up (Make A Move)". However, "I Don't Know" was later released for radio airplay in the USA.

Wakeley

This last name is derived from Norse mythology. According to the Fall of Thor myth, the powerful Wakeley stole Thor's hammer, Mjöllnir, whilst Thor was sleeping and struck him in the head, instantly turning his head into a pile of blood and god dust. Wakeley then proceeded to consume this ethereal mixture and assumed Thor's previous position amongst the gods. It is said that Thor's god dust still runs through the Wakeley family tree and that each Wakeley possesses the power to wield Mjöllnir, Thor's hammer. It is also said that Wakeleys also posses the power to throw lightning bolts at their foes to instantly incinerate them. In addition to these powers obtained from Thor, it has been visually confirmed that at will, any Wakeley can call upon a chariot pulled by the two goats Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr in order to avoid rush hour traffic.
Bob was incinerated by Chris Wakeleys last week after accidently coughing in his general direction... we had better not mess with any of the Wakeleys.

Wake, Bake, and Wade

The act of waking up, smoking herb, and going for a swim.

The purpose of this is to calm you down and relax you. The preferred time for this event is 7-8AM, because it won't be too hot. This can be done alone, or in a small group of no more than 5. Too many people would ruin the relaxed environment. It is acceptable to be in a hot tub instead. It is also acceptable to be nude.
Guy 1: *yawn* Hey last night was great, babe.

Girl 1: You're telling me.
Guy 1: Let's go smoke a bowl by the pool then go in the hot tub.
Girl 1: I'm up for a Wake, Bake, and Wade.

Wake and Work

Usually refers to those that work the early morning shifts. Also, common among those in their adolescent or college years. A wake and bake compliments a wake and work quite nicely. Although a wake and bake is optional, it feels like an obligation to one’s self. If circumstances permit, one could squeeze extra sleep in and be at work in 15 minutes after waking.

Wakeaphobia

When you can wake up fine over the weekend, but can't for school, no matter how early you go to sleep.
