Alternate spelling of cellphiddlers

Used to describe a breed of people that, at a party, upon realizing that they don't know anyone, recess into a corner or otherwise inconspicuous area and begin fiddling with their cell phone.

Cell Gangsta

A prison inmate who tries to act tough from behind his or her cell door by yelling names or other derogatory statements at either another inmate or a corrections officer. This is usually done when said inmate believes that most likely they won't be identified.

Like a true cell gangsta, Charlie waited until the C.O. was out of range before talking trash on him.

Cell out

Scrolling through information in your cell phone, such as text messages or list of contacts. Often a feeble attempt to appear more popular when you have no one to talk to in a given social setting. Also a mindless activity to pass dead time, such as when on the toilet.

John felt awkward because none of his friends were at the party, so he sat in the corner and started to cell out.
