streets of rage

Side scrolling beat em up manufactured for the sega megadrive/ sega genesis in the early 90's. Smooth and original gameplay made the game such a hit that a sequel was made, which was even better. There was a third game made, which had more moves availiable, but it wasn't anywhere near as popular as the first two.

Every time I faced the Mona & Lisa bosses in SOR I lost about five lives because I couldn't hit them. It was several years after first playing the game for the first time before i realised that I should stand with my back to them and press B and C buttons together to backkick when they approach. Saves me a few police cars.

A street punk is the last of a once noble and respectable subculture that's now been almost thoroughly commercialized. Still listens to genuine music made by genuine people without the frivolities of fancy recording equipment and without the shackles of a major record label. A true, untrammelled seeker of freedom. Many are hard drinkers. Most can shoot a boot to your temple faster then you can count to three. They are frequently some of the nicest, most open and accepting people around. But they can still whoop your ass in heartbeat.

A street nigga is a nigga who is really from the streets. Typically a young nigga who done sold dope on a minor or major level. The life of a real street nigga is often personified in rap songs. A street nigga is typically a gangsta ass nigga too. A street nigga will be up on all the latest drug slang and what be going down in the hood. Real street niggas typically smoke weed , pop beans and serve dem junkies.
