parent poser

A parent poser is someone (usually male) who acts like they are there for there children when they are not. They are usually the kind of parent that has 5 children so they could go on welfare. They use there children to their advantage.

A mother has 6 children (on purpose) to go on welfare. The children have nothing to eat but Ramen Noodles and wear tattered clothes, while the mother is driving a new SUV with 30 inch spinning rims.

proper spelling

1. A skill that is rapidly becoming anachronistic since the advent of the computer age. Being able to spell words correctly as they appear in a dictionary of the English language.

2. Something so rapidly diminishing that it prompted a major university to do a study showing that it's not really necessary, that as long as the first and last letters of a word are in place, we can figure it out. So apparently spelling for its own sake would be useless, then. Fuckers.

I am bitter because no one employs proper spelling any more, instead choosing to take the easy road in our society of instant gratification.

purple prose

Writing that is so pretentious and extravagant that it sounds like the author is full of themselves and distracts the reader from the actual story itself.

The Creepypasta "Blood Whistle" has so much purple prose that it makes it look like the author has never played a violent video game in his life.
