Chip time

The failure and embarrassment of a student after getting a question wrong in a lesson, particulary in A-level economics. The meaning also indicates that the student is not welcome in the class due to his or her failure and must therefore buy some chips in a nearby cafe or canteen after leaving.

Teacher: where is revenue maximised?

Student1: I don't know...

Teacher:(sigh)

Chris: Chip time mate. Time for you to receive your failure

Gio time

1. An abstract dimension of time in which Gio obeys all laws of physics under. The conversion from "Gio time" to real time is defined by a "Gio factor," which is a constant multiple that is modeled by a exponential function that concaves downward.

When Gio says that he'll meet you somewhere in five minutes "Gio time", he actually means that he'll meet you there any time between fifteen and twenty five minutes in real time.

One year in "Gio time" is a very long time.

Garbage Time

Anytime in a game when points don't really make a difference in the outcome of a game. It could be when a team is dominating another by so many points, they bring in the 2nd or 3rd stringers and they continue the ass-whooping. Another example would be a team that is getting their ass kicked real bad, but finally score. It's garbage time because the winning team has practically given up due to the spread being so huge.

Joe: "Man, why is Matt Cassel fist pumping after that TD?"

Greg: "I don't know, it's garbage time." "The Bills have already put this one away...in fact it was over in the 2nd quarter."
