Person 1: Dude, is that the fifth geek wound this week?
Person 2: Yeah, I tried to pull a drive bay cover off by sticking my index finger in the index-finger sized hole in it. Those stamped metal parts have razor sharp edges!

A wound flower is an injury turned into a gift. The application is usually emotional, but I guess could apply physically. The idea is basically turning a bad thing into a good thing. Let something beautiful grow out of an open wound. Let the rotting flesh and toxic environment be the fertilizer to foster a new thing; a beautiful thing.
This can and will typically apply in break-up scenarios, where you think you lost the "one", only to find another one that may have been more suitable the entire time.
Originally coined in the song "New Scar" by Mack Harrison. (supposedly)

Don't get too worked up over this inconsequential thing. It's similar to "don't get your panties in a bunch, but much more relevant today"
Did the Uber cancel on you? Don't get your charging cables all wound up, we'll just order another cab.

Luke: Bro, you need to stop getting hammered every night
Joel: My dad was an alcoholic and this is how I learned to cope with all my problems. Also he never gave me Nerf guns as a kid. Leave me alone..
Luke: you're wound shaming me rn
