Pyramid Message

A social media post worded in such a way as to encourage the reader to copy/paste the same message to their own feed. It will often (but not always) use an emotional theme to trigger a feeling of guilt in the reader in order to facilitate its underlying purpose to rapidly spread using a pyramid structure.

Example of a pyramid message:

Everyone says: "If you need anything, don't hesitate, I'll be there for you ". I'm going to make a bet, without being pessimistic, that out of my family and friends less than 7 will take the time to put this on their wall to help raise awareness of mental health difficulties.
So surprise me and prove me wrong!!! 🌻💛

I wonder why Disney is obsessed with promoting "The Message" in their movies.

Message loss

The (personal situation in or of) point in any relationship where you no longer care about most of what you hear from others. Or when your friend, spouse etc. or acquaintance no longer listen or hear most of anything you say (unless super important).

He felt himself lapse into message loss after thirty seconds of hearing that choad running his mouth.

Message-bomb

When you are typing a message to someone (especially a long and meaningful one) and while you are typing it, they send you a message (usually a question) and you have to erase everything and change your entire message

Jake: So what happened last night? Did you tell Ella that you like her?
John: No, I was typing, and then she totally message-bombed me and asked me to tell her the answers to the homework so I never got the chance
