Perpetual Jet Lag 

A hard rock band known for their epic music and energetic stage performance. They hail from the state of Washington in the United States. The music describes levels of society, including the envronment, war, disatisfaction with music, and very often social status.

Perpetual Jet Lag formed their band, the greatest seen in all the land. They said "come fellows take our hands, we'll bring this rock to everyman."

Would you like some jet with that lag? 

A phrase, analogous to "Would you like some cheese with that whine?" for obvious reasons.

Instead, it is used when there is rampant lagging as opposed to rampant whining in the original. Can be used when a player is lagging, when a server is lagging, etc.

Scope Lag 

Scope lag is a specific type of lag in Battlefield:Bad Company where the reticule of the scope first appears to be misaligned with the scope itself. Then when you move the left thumb-stick, the reticule moves while the entire black screen stays. if the lag is bad enough, you can move away from the black screen and even see your hands.It's really annoying.

Scope lag is a reminder that it's just a game because scope lag doesn't happen in real life-hopefully.

Coffee Lag 

The time in the morning that's in between grabbing your cup of joe, and the caffeine kicking in. Usually spotted in drivers who don't seem to be "all there" during the morning rush. As if they grabbed their coffee when leaving the house and hopped into the car immediately, instead of waiting for the effect before driving.

On my way to work this morning, I must've passed ten people suffering from coffee lag, I don't know if they even saw me.

Porch-lag 

a phenomenon occurring when people with planned destinations stand around talking (possibly on a porch) instead of leaving

Having spent the day together, the group realized it was about time to leave. However, instead of immediately heading to their cars, they experienced about 10 minutes of porch-lag.
