A major economic contraction which began in 2008. The Great Recession featured the collapse or nationalization of many banks and investment houses. Characterized by a torrent of panicky headlines from the bloodthirsty vultures in America's piss-yellow newsrooms, who tried their damnedest to make us all believe that this was the worst it's been "since the Great Depression."

The Great Recession was the best opportunity yet to rob the public purse in order to bail out the rich-ass hedge fund managers and their golfing buddies.

Greenpoint

An interesting section of Brooklyn, New York, where much of the population is, and speaks, Polish, Ukrainian, and Lithuanian. Known for good Polish restaurants, and very easy to get to by train from Manhattan or Queens (you can see Manhattan's beveled Citicorp Tower from most of the streets). Near Metropolitan Ave. just a few blocks away from the beginning of Greenpoint, there's a beautiful Russian Orthodox church with maroon onion domes and gold crosses.

My drothers are for a Polish restaurant, so let's have some chow in Greenpoint!

A Grete is someone you always want to be around. No matter what mood her friends might be in a Grete is always happy and never stops giggling. Usually a Grete is blonde with blue eyes, also, she is usually taller than all of her friends. Grete can always make you laugh and you can always make her laugh.
