Corporate Cockroach

Employee in large company deft in the art of not doing much at all. When the spotlight is turned on them, they work furiously and scramble to acomplish tasks quickly. As soon as attention turns away from them, they go back to their lazy ways and acomplish very little until the light is shown upon them again.
Man, that guy never does anything around here. He only gets busy when the boss is up his ass, which is rarely. he's such a corporate cockroach!

Corpensource

An adjective to describe open-source software where the primary benefactor of the software is a large corporation that's really just using the open-source model to get a bunch of suckers to work for free.
I'd love to contribute to VS Code and offer a solution to make the file-tree readable, and therefore the software usable, but fuck it, it's corpensource horseshit. Why should I work for Microsoft for free?

corporate dollar

The "corporate dollar" stands for today's way of putting fast profit over quality and sustainability. If it doesn't pay out today, it'll be gone before tomorrow.
"I can't believe they cancelled Firefly. Don't they understand that it takes time to build up a franchise?"
"Yeah, it's all about fast and cheap. Blame the corporate dollar."

"Shareholders just care about the money in their pockets... everyone just cares about the money in their pockets!"

"Starship's We Built This City is considered the horrible sound of a band taking the corporate dollar while sneering at those who take the corporate dollar.”

corpsing

From the theater: to laugh uncontrollably and not be able to stop. (Source: Cate Blanchette on the 12/04/06 Tonight Show). Wikipedia defines it as follows: "Corpsing is a theatrical slang term used to describe when an actor breaks character during a scene - usually by laughing or forgetting his or her lines, or by causing another cast member to do so. Though the origin of the term is unknown, it refers to almost literally murdering the scene.

A BBC TV program on 18 November 2006 stated an opinion that the term "corpsing" originated when there was a corpse on stage, acted by a living actor: there was sometimes a tendency to try to make that actor laugh."
"Hugo Weaving was in a production of King Lear and he could just sat there corpsing."

Marine Corps

A branch of the military that goes with the saying from the old world war recruiting poster "first to fight". Also, a highly trained bunch that is willing to do anything to protect their country, even the people that look down upon them. They work hard, and play even harder, they look to always improve themselves and take charge whenever no one else will. They are true warrior's, and if anyone want's to talk bad about them and what they do, it just shows the ignorance of people taking their freedom for granted.
